DJ IVA STARKOVA
This Split based young lady took up djing three years ago, under the immense influence of pioneers of early electro music like: Kraftwerk, Aux88, Drexciya; to mention but a few. The beginnings of her dj career can be connected with the renowned nightclub 'Irma' in Split, where she started holding her first residency, spinning all genres of electronic music. After some time she decided to trace down the roots of electronic music, and chose electro and techno as her primary preoccupation. While spinning on a regular basis she hooked up with a group of video artists, together they formed the 'Herbarij crew'- which can bee seen as a platform for development of audio-visual communication and art.
Ivu sam slusala jedno vece u Poratu. Bila je fenomenalna. Svira odlicnooo.

Anthony Howard Wilson (20 February 1950 – 10 August 2007) was an English record label owner, radio presenter, TV show host, nightclub manager, impresario and journalist for Granada Television and the BBC.
Wilson, commonly known as Tony Wilson, was the music mogul behind some of Manchester's most successful bands. He was the founder and manager of The Haçienda nightclub, and was one of the five co-founders of Factory records.
Wilson was also known as Mr Manchester,dubbed as such for his work in promoting the greater cultural status of Manchester throughout his career.

... nekako mi se cini da Deep Dish postaje stvar proslosti, ili su samo decki odlucili napraviti pauzu jedan od drugog i pokupiti svaki svoju lovu. Ali i Sharam sve cesce nastupaju odvojeno. Sharam je ovog ljeta par puta nastupio u Hrvatskoj, ali ni Dubfire nije spavao.

"Uopce ne kuzim zakaj ljudi idu u onu Haciendu kad je ovdje tak dobro..."
Ove rijeci sam cuo iz usta jedne zgodne, dotjerane djevojke koja je prvi put bila u Poratu, dok je s frendicom cekala na shanku.
Na Prosici pored Pirovca, uz samu obalu mora nalazi se Porat, najljepsi klub za partyanje u ovom dijelu Europe.
Ovog ljeta je Porat, pod dirigentskom palicom DJ Sergeja, bio posjeceniji nego ikad. Redali su se koncerti, partyji dan za danom.
Ovog ljeta su u Poratu nastupili Let 3, Dino Dvornik, Urban, Leut Magnetic, te DJ-i Ian Pooley, Mr. DJ Dario, Iva, Fidelity, Jonty Skruff, Hide, Felver, Frajman, Sergej (naravno), DJ Reno i jos mnogi mnogi drugi....

10.08.2007. za sve koji ostaju u Zagrebu ili su se vec vratili s godisnjeg, najbolji hrvatski DJ priprema pravu glazbenu poslasticu.
Naime, u klubu The Best svima nama drag DJ Mary priprema cjelonocnu voznju na otvorenom. Na terasi kluba The Best mozete potraziti rjesenje za osvjezenje u vruce ljetne dane (i noci).
Upad je 20 kn do ponoći ili 30 kn iza, pa savjetujemo dolazak u klub prije ponoci te ispijanje hladne pivice na terasi.
Partyzani na raznim forumima vec najavljuju svoj dolazak, tako da mozemo ocekivati da ce se skupiti dobra ekipa.
Najbitnije o Maryu i njegovom radu mozete saznati (ako vec ne znate) ako pogledate njegov kratki interview iz 2004.
