Miss Jools has been DJing for a total of 10 years. In this time she has steadily built up her musical knowledge and technical experience, which has gained her the credibility of being one of the leading female DJs within the UK scene.
Having moved to London in 1994 from the Southwest, she started a twice-weekly live broadcast show on Girls FM, London’s former pirate radio station. It was here she experimented and adapted her musical style, which now rocks and shakes the dancefloors of clubland.

Superstar DJs and a who’s who of the electronic music world descend upon Buenos Aires this week for the South American Music Conference (SAMC). By day, SAMC pulls together artists, producers, record label representatives, and fans for workshops and panels on everything from turntablism to festival organizing to the ins-and-outs of making a re-mix song. By night, DJs in town for the conference entertain the masses at various nightclubs around the city.
The conference culminates Saturday, March 8 with a day-long concert at Centro Costa Salguero. The music starts at 3 p.m. and goes on until Sunday morning at 6 a.m. on four different stages. Trance masters Ferry Corsten and Christopher Lawrence headline the concert, which features more than 40 international and local DJs playing house, progressive house, trance, minimal, and other electronica genres.

Što se tiče proteklog mjeseca ožujka, slobodno možemo reći da je bio „najJabbanskiji“ mjesec unazad dugo dugo. Od uvodnog stavka; slavlja 20og JabbaTona, do Brucošijade FER-a 2007/08, pa sve do zadnjeg stavka od milja nazvane „Jabba rapsodije u 3 stavka“. Taj svojevrsni „hat-trick“ završit ćemo u standardnom Jabbanskom ritmu na koji ste navikli. Naime u goste nam dolazi odlični slovenski DJ Borka (Code.EP / SLO), za kojeg slobodno možemo reći da je jedan od najboljih turntablista i breakbeat/drum'n'bass DJ-a sa ovih prostora. Svaki put je rado viđen u Zagrebu te nikoga na danceflooru ne poštedi plesom izgubljenih kalorija. Stilski bi ga možda mogli usporediti s DJ Ahmaadom ili DJ Splinterom kojeg smo ugostili prije koji mjesec.
DJ Borka (Code.EP / SLO) 
Borka je 26-ogodišnji DJ/producent/promoter iz Ljubljane, kojem su gramofoni glavna zanimacija od 1999. Član je kolektiva imena Code.EP. Stil mu je poprilično eklektičan pa u njegovom setu možete čuti breakbeat, drum'n'bass (od deep i dubby do liquid funka…), hiphop (uglavnom abstract, instrumental i leftfield beats), uz pokoju scratch rutinu tokom seta. Nastupao je uz razne strane izvođače širom Slovenije ali i u inozemstvu: Hrvatska, Mađarska, Njemačka, Austria, Francuska, Velika Britanija, Norveška, Srbija, Bosna… Njegov set je puštan i na poznatoj londonskoj radio postaji Kiss FM. Osim DJ-anja, bavi se i produkcijom , pa je tako sakupio nekoliko izdanja a također producira i za projekt imena Ironic Tronic te još neke hiphop izvođače. Inače Borka se bavi i promocijom za ljubljanski klub K4 (uglavnom drum'n'bass, freestyle & hiphopish večeri), a do sada je organizirao večeri te djelio pozornicu s umjetnicima kao što su Krush, Bonobo, Zinc, Big Bud, DJ Format, Danny Breaks, DJ Yoda, Quantic… Osim svega nabrojanog, Borka također ima i radijsku emisiju imena BreakWave na Radio Studentu, te piše glazbene review-e za neke glazbene magazine (Mladina, Muska)…

Good Vibrations Festival 2008 Approaching our fifth year in Feb 2008, Good Vibrations Festival has become a landmark on the Australian summer calendar. A lot of time and effort is spent ensuring that quality control is at it's highest for all aspects of the event, from Line-up and venues through to catering and production.
Previous artists have included James Brown, Moloko, Scissor Sisters, Lyrics Born, Gangstarr, Ben Watt, Talib Kweli, Soul II Soul, DJ Format, Mylo, Arrested Development, Layo & Bushwacka!, Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Malente, Nextmen, Satoshi Tomiie, Switch, Blackalicious, Bahamadia,Estelle and Many More!
There are Four stages that cover both high profile and breaking artists with an emphasis on summer-friendly beats, be it Hip Hop, D'n'B, Breaks, Electro, Soul,House, Funk and Rare Groove.
Two stages predominantly feature top quality live acts whilst the third will showcase some of the finest DJ talent from the world over. A fourth area; Bar Live features a cocktail bar and a combination of party-starting DJs and live acts to accompany a well-shaken drink or two.

Ovaj tjedan je Pete Tong imao specijalnog gosta: Matthew Dear poznatiji kao Audion iz Texasa.
Texas-born Dear moved to Michigan as a teenager, where he was inspired by the sound of Detroit Techno. Dear met Sam Valenti IV at a party while attending the University of Michigan, after which the two created the record label, Ghostly International, based on a shared love of electronic music. Dear’s first single was 1999’s "Hands Up For Detroit" (co-produced by ghettotech pioneer Disco D, who performed under the name Daisha). Successive singles, such as "Stealing Moves," were issued on Spectral Sound, Ghostly’s offshoot that focuses on dancefloor music.

Dear’s first album Leave Luck to Heaven appeared in 2003 and was praised widely as a seminal fusion of pop and minimal techno. The album’s single "Dog Days" became one of Spectral’s best sellers and a favorite of international DJs like Richie Hawtin. Dear followed the album with Backstroke in 2004 and has also begun working under the harder-edged Audion alias, apart from additional monikers False and Jabberjaw. In an interview he briefly mentioned that the idea for Audion came from a dream and it inspired him so much that he started to piece the tune together based on what he remembered

Underground Resistance (commonly abbreviated to UR) is a musical collective from Detroit, Michigan, in the United States of America. They are the most militantly political example of modern Detroit Techno, with a grungy, four-track musical aesthetic and a strictly anti-mainstream business strategy. They have exerted their portion of Detroit Techno's cultural influence towards promoting political activism.
Begun in the late 1980s by Jeff Mills and "Mad" Mike Banks, UR related the aesthetics of early Detroit Techno to the complex social, political, and economic circumstances which followed on from Reagan-era inner-city economic recession, producing uncompromising music geared toward promoting awareness and facilitating political change. Later Robert "Noise" Hood joined the collective.

Godine 1993.postoji već nekoliko klupskih večeri i više stotina ljudi koji ih pohode. Prvo se ustalila srijeda u Gjuri kao večer za techno glazbu, a zatim u Aquariusu, te Mungosu u Kašini.
Scena izlazi iz podzemlja na Dan mrtvih 1993. na Under City Raveu u katakombama ispod gornjeg grada gdje se nakrcalo više tisuća ljudi i techno akteri dobivaju medunarodno priznanje tj.svoj prvi veliki rave.
U ovo doba dominira franfurtski i belgijski zvuk; u prvo vrijeme techno, a zatim sve više Hardcore,da bi 1994 dominirao „klasični" trance.
Gjuro nakon početnih okupljanja preuzima ulogu jedinog kluba s odjevno tematskim večerima poput S/M ili „Kinky". Aquarius postaje sinonim techno i trance večeri, a kasnije se usmjerava na house glazbu i strana gostovanja.Kašina (Mungos) prelazi put od privatne zabave i neograničene slobode do velikog preuređenog kluba za više od tisuću ljudi, kasnije počinju sve Češće racije i povremena zatvaranja.
Space Aggressor je specifična pojava poput nekog zapadnoeuropskog skvota; ulaz je bio besplatan,dekoracije minimalisticke ali snažne, i oni kojima je bilo stalo do glazbe i plesa nisu obraćali pozornost na derutnost prostora koji je čak ponekad služio za skladište i sastanke mjesne zajednice. Zbog ilegalnosti Space Aggressor nije mogao dugo trajati, ali njegovo postojanje je bitno jer je obogatilo tadašnju rave scenu u nastanku.
Tijekom 1994 godine uslijedili su doista veliki raveovi: Brave Rave, Future Shock 2001, Galaktika sa 6 do 7. tisuća rasplesanih ravera. Pripadnici rave subkulture nisu ovisili samo o klupskim okupljanjima, nego su često i u manjim grupama makar i pokraj otvorenog auta „rejvali", mimo klupskih organiziranih događaja. Osjećaj pokreta nije bio lišten ni klasičnih oblika izražavanja pripadnosti poput grafita „Mayday"(kultni njemački party koji se održavao dvaput godišnje) tipični grafiti „Rave on".

... Force FM is UK pirate radio station, broadcasting across London & the surrounding areas on 106.5 MHz FM. The station has been transmitting on or around this frequency since 1994 - and remains one of the UK's most consistent illegal broadcasters.
One of the reasons Force FM has remained popular & consistent is due to it's music policy, which covers a wide spectrum of Dance & Urban music styles. Due to the stations Hardcore/Jungle roots, there is still an evening dedicated to Old Skool Hardcore, and an evening for Drum & Bass/Jungle. Zanimljiva vijest nam stize iz Amsterdama. Nizozemska policija zeli dozvoliti spolno opcenje ilitiga sex ilitiga shevu u javnim parkovima. Tako ce nakon odlicnog partya Nozozemci moci svratiti do Vondelparka na shevu, pa do Green Housea na joint.

AMSTERDAM - Nizozemska policija traži da se u parkovima te zemlje dozvoli spolno općenje, a njihov institut savjetovao je gradove da slijede primjer Amsterdama. Naime, u amsterdamskom parku Voldenpark vlasnici pasa ne smiju puštati pse s uzice ako ne žele platiti kaznu, međutim, vođenje ljubavi uskoro više neće izazivati nikakve probleme.
- Zašto bi nastojali održati neodrživo, ono što drugima ne smeta, a nekima predstavlja veliko zadovoljstvo - objasnio je gradski vijećnik Paul van Grieken. On je dodao kako je plan prema kojem bi se u tom parku dopustilo spolno općenje sastavni dio prijedloga novih pravila koja trebaju stupiti na snagu nakon ljeta.
- Naravno, postoje i stroge odredbe. Tako se kondomi moraju ukloniti, ljubav se ne smije voditi pored dječjih igrališta, a seks je dopušten samo tijekom večernjih i noćnih sati - kaže Grieken.
Nacrt predviđa kazne za vlasnike pasa koji trče bez povodaca i uznemiruju ljude koji se sunčaju ili voze biciklom. Policija objašnjava da se mnogi ljudi na njih žale.
Institut poziva Rotterdam, Haag i Utrecht da toleriraju homoseksualce u svojim parkovima. Ističu da se regulacijom spolnog općenja u javnosti, koje se ionako ne može izbjeći, homoseksualcima može pružiti kvalitetnija zaštita od nasilnih homofoba.
Udruga homoseksualaca COC pohvalila je odluku gradskih otaca da se u Voldenparku dopusti seks. (njd)

BJ: Dario, prije svega drago nam je što ćeš nastupiti u Rijeci na Body Jack partyu i počastiti nas jednim svojim trade-mark DJ-setom. Kad smo već kod tvojih nastupa u Rijeci, kako to da, uprkos činjenici da si jedan od najbookiranijih hrvatskih DJa, ne dolaziš češće na ove prostore?
D: Hvala na pozivu i moram priznati da se radujem svom prvom nastupu u Rijeci! Poštujem riječku publiku i imam lijepa iskustva od prije par godina kada sam svirao uglavnom u bližoj okolici grada. Zadnji nastup je bio u Kostreni i nadam se barem približnoj atmosferi sljedećeg petka u Tesli!
BJ: Neupitan je tvoj status veterana na hrvatskoj party sceni; bio si rezident u kultnom zagrebačkom klubu „88“ ranih devedesetih, zatim u kašinskom „Mungos“-u te najzad u „Best“-u. No, za one koji ne znaju, reci nam nešto o svojim počecima.
D: Karijeru DJ-a započinjem davne 1983. Ipak, onaj važniji dio, vezan uz elektroniku i njene početke, starta u periodu 1994/'95.
Nakon niza racija u klubu 88, prilično nezadovaljan te uz nagovor prijatelja, odlazim do Kašine s namjerom da se provedem i zaboravim nemili dogadaj. Neočekivano, na samom ulazu u klub, upitali su me da li sam možda ponio ploče da bi se naposlijetku, uz nagovor ekipe i samog vlasnika kluba, popeo na pult! Odsviravši svoj prvi set, postajem rezidentom kluba Mungos, te tako naizgled neobećavajuća noć postaje prekretnica u mojoj karijeri. O četverogodišnjoj euforiji svjedočit će svi istinski brijači, a nezaboravni trenutci prepričavaju se još i danas. Neupitno je da su te četiri godine i popularnost koju sam stekao upravo tamo otvorili vrata nadolazećim eventima.
Nakon uspješne turneje po Aziji (Live@ Taipei, Taiwan) i velikog uspjeha mog prvog maxi singla u suradnji s Petrom Dundovom, karijeru nastavljam u klubu 'The Best'. 1998. pokrećem 'Kraljevstvo', a slijedeće godine 'Perfection' partye. Kao rezident i sudionik raznih projekata u istom klubu, djelujem još i danas.
BJ: Gledajući unatrag na proživljeno iskustvo, postoje li neki momenti koje bi istaknuo, anegdote kojih se i danas rado prisjetiš?
D: Bila su to vremena ludosti, euforije i P.L.U.R-a sa mnogo lijepih iskustava i zbilja teško je iz mnoštva toga izdvojiti nešto posebno!
BJ: Neki ljudi smatraju da je određena količina kontroverze neophodna komponenta svake uspješne karijere. Smatraš li se kontroverznom osobom?
D: Naravno da se ne smatram kontroverznom osobom. Kontroverzu su stvarali ljudi oko mene!!! Masu toga rečeno je i napisano o meni, dosta toga i u negativnom kontekstu?! Moram priznati da su me te stvari više zabavljale nego smetale, jer sam u startu shvatio da je to nezaobilazni dio showa kojeg sam dobrovoljno postao dio, a neki od foruma u kojima sam često bio protagonist više nitko ni ne čita :D
BJ: Koje je tvoje mišljenje o stanju hrvatske klupske/party scene danas; koji su problemi, koje prednosti te moguća i potrebna poboljšanja?
D: Bio bih najsretniji da o našoj sceni govorim u superlativu, no ipak stvari su krenule pomalo čudnim tokom?!
Iako sam nepopravljivi optimist priznajem da sam zabrinut, s obzirom da smo samo prije par godina prednjačili u regiji. Unatoč činjenici da imamo podosta kvalitetnih DJ-a i sve više producentskih uradaka, sve se manje svira.
Mislim da bi trebali malo pogledati kako se to radi vani, ili barem preuzeti zaključke iskustava prvih nam susjeda; neki manje poznati slovenski DJ-i sviraju više nego naši najpoznatiji?!!
BJ: Kakva je situacija na Zagrebačkoj sceni u odnosu na prošla vremena, a koje su aktualne struje?
D: Pa nešto malo bolja s obzirom da scena kao takva u nekim našim krajevima više i ne postoji.
Klubovi su dotrajali, sve se manje ulažu potrebna sredstva, a vlasnici više vjeruju u glazbu sumnjivog sadržaja koja nažalost donosi veći profit.
Ipak, nije sve tako crno. Neki stari projekti su zaživili, neki novi su na pomolu, a sve je više mladih DJ-a od kojih su neki pravo iznenadenje!
BJ: Što se same glazbe tiče, kako bi definirao svoj stil, odnosno na koji žanr/podžanr si danas fokusiran? Rock'n'Roll, Punk, Disco i svi drugi popularni žanrovski monoliti su, bez obzira na suvremene disidentske pod-oblike, špicirali u prosjeku dvije decenije. Da li je i dance glazba (u nedostatku boljeg sveobuhvatnog termina) isto tako obišla pun krug, odnosno koje su tvoje projekcije/ekstrapolacije nadolazećih vremena, kako vidiš budućnost?
D: Mislim da sam još dublje u sferi undergrounda nego što sam bio! :D
Više od 3 godine sviram isključivo novu glazbu, ploče mi stižu gotovo svaki tjedan, mada ima još onih koji misle da vrtim iskljucivo stare stvari :D
Poštujem prošlost, ali ipak živim za budućnost i smatram da se glazba mora mijenjati , a stilovi dopunjavati. Svoj bih stil okarakterzirao kao fuziju novih muzičkih formi u elektronici kao što su: mnml, electro, novi techno, te dosta melodije i topline dubokog basa koji je baza novog zvuka. Ipak najvažnije mi je stvoriti dobru atmosferu i izbjeći zamku monotonije.
BJ: Vrativši se u sadašnjost, čime se još baviš osim svirkama u Bestu, postoje li neki drugi spomena vrijedni projekti i inicijative?
D: Činjenica je da prečesto (
aj Dario mojne kenjat ;) - op. stereosound) sviram u Zagrebu i nadam se, u skoroj budućnosti, boljoj ravnoteži jer ima krajeva gdje nisam svirao već čitavu deceniju :D
S obzirom da sam obučio dosta mladih DJ-a, od kojih su neki napravili zavidne karijere, volio bih pokrenuti školu za mlade dj-e (nikako akademiju) :D
Svoju budućnost isključivo vidim u produkciji, po mogućnosti što originalnijoj, bez infekcije trendovskim šablonima!
BJ: Za kraj, što bi poručio te savjetovao novoj generaciji nadobudnih DJ-a, organizatora i partijanera?
D: Za partyjanere P.L.U.R, za organizatore da im jedini kriterij bude kvaliteta DJ-a, a mladim DJ-ima želim puno sreće, da vjeruju u ono što rade, te da ulažu u sebe i ono najvažnije: ne kopirati druge!!!

Alternativni klub Močvara zatvorit će se 11. svibnja ove godine, priopćili su danas njeni predstavnici te naglasili kako je to njihov najjači protest protiv Grada koji sve ove godine protiv njih ‘vodi strategiju ignoriranja’.
Predstavnici kluba i URK-a, naime, traže da im Grad izda novi ugovor jer bez njega rade od 2003., kada je stari ugovor istekao. Kažu kako zbog toga nemaju uvjete za funkcioniranje kluba. Isto tako, žele da im se Grad ispriča zbog izvješća Povjerenstva starog oko mjesec i pol dana, a u kojem je klub optužen da je paravan za ugostiteljski biznis te da daju prostore u podnajam.
- Grad nam nije produžio stari ugovor već petu godinu bez ikakvog objašnjenja, a svaki pokušaj da ugovorimo sastanak s nekim iz Grada propao je tijeko posljednjih godinu dana - rekao je voditelj promocije Božidar Markulinčić.

John je rodjen 1985. u malom mjestu nedaleko od Stockholma. Prve kontakte s glazbom imao je igrajuci se kao dijete na ocevom Atariju. S 15 godina je izdao prvu demo snimku s kojom nije imao uspjeha, ali vec s drugim demom John se probija na scenu.
Nastavak karijere obiljezava suradnja s braticem Jesperom, s kojim osniva duo Hugg & Pepp, ali i vlastiti label na kojem izdaje za mnoga poznata imena: Özgur Can, Sebastien Leger, Dada Life, Zoo Brazil, Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke...

Her vocal collaborations have produced seminal moments of dancefloor heaven. Alongside long-time production partner The Hacker, tracks such as ‘Frank Sinatra’ and ‘1982’ propelled them into the spotlight whilst further collaborations with Felix Da Housecat ‘Silver Screen (Shower Scene)’, Golden Boy ‘Rippin Kittin’, Sven Vath ‘Je T’aime’ and T. Raumschmiere ‘The Game Is Not Over’ have confirmed Miss Kittin’s star billing status.
She released her debut solo artist album ‘I Com’ in 2004, that showed her spreading her wings with jacking Chicago house, distorted punk attitude, skanked-up dub and electronic pop as the singles Professional Distortion, Requiem For A Hit and Happy Violentine aptly displayed.
The heavily-accented deadpan delivery over techno beats that established her notoriety on previous recordings has been unseated by a desire to sing, to scream, to rap and to croon, all of which she manages to do with ample helpings of sly wit and wordplay and a musical landscape that incorporates both brazen beats and intoxicating atmospherics.
However for all her releases and collaborations Kittin’s first and main love remains DJing. From starting out in 1994 Kittin’s name first appeared on a flyer in the chill-out room for a rave in an old military fort in the mountains. From there on Kittin hasn’t looked back. From playing harder edged techno, rave classics, Chicago, acid and Detroit techno Kittin has progressed into more leftfield, electro and electronic realms. Able to play Prince with Black Dog or Aphex Twin with a new Kompakt 12” she has an uncanny and intuitive sense of selection that not only flows but also maintains that primary sense of the party. Anyone who has seen Kittin dancing behind the decks or grabbing the microphone mid-set will understand only too well that she is also a clubber at heart. As Kittin says, “I love playing records, it's probably the best thing I know to do in life. I do it because it's big fun and it makes me free.”

Electric Indigo, dj and musician, has rocked clubs, raves, and festivals in 35 countries. she started her dj career in vienna in 1989 with jazz and funk sets, but soon found her style in the detroit and chicago techno sound. in her berlin years (1993-1996), she was responsible for purchasing and communication for the legendary record dealer hard wax. In 1998 she created female:pressure, an international database for female DJs, producers, and visual artists who work in the fields of electronic music. female:pressure is a unique, web-based resource of female talent all around the globe and was built to enhance mutual support and communication as well as the general level of information about female artists. in 2002, electric indigo played on the main stage of detroit's electronic music fest, a great honor for her since she's been truly inspired and motivated by detroit's music. 2003 she started her own record label indigo:inc recordings and 2004 marked the beginning of indigo's and mia zabelka's (together they form colophony circuit) cooperation with the exceptionally gifted musician dorit chrysler.

Frenchman Laurent Garnier was born on February 1st 1966. The former staffer at the embassy in London began DJ-ing in Manchester during the late '80s and became by the following decade one of the best all-around DJ's in the world, able to span classic deep house and Detroit techno, the harder side of acid/trance and surprisingly jazzy tracks as well.
He added production work to his schedule in the early '90s, and recorded several brilliant LPs with a similar penchant for diversity.
One of the first Europeans to begin mixing American house music in Britain, Garnier was one of the prime cogs in the late '80s club scene. His DJ'ing at Manchester's legendary Haçienda club provided a major inspiration for the Stone Roses, The and Happy Mondays to begin adding house rhythms to rock music.

Ove godine pokret vezan uz elektronsku glazbu (u raznim vremenima na raznim mjestina zvan acid-house, rave, clubbing ili jednostavno party-scena) u svojoj domovini (odnosno domovinama – VB i SAD) ulazi u svoju 18godinu, postaje punoljetan. U Hrvatskoj to traje otprilike 13-14godina.
U Hrvatskoj zapocinje u vrijeme rata, tijekom 92god. kada se pokreću prve javne slušaonice i underground partyi koji broje svega po nekoliko desetaka ljudi.
Jedan od prvih techno partyja u Hrvatskoj održan je u prosincu 92 god. u atmosferi neizvjesnosti početka rata i odlazaka u sklonište. Organizatori tvrde da je oblik zajedništva koji je stvoren specifičnom atmosferom skladišta i uzbuna pridonio uspjehu tog partyja.
Čim se rat malo smirio usljedilo je još nekoliko partyja na kojima se „strobo light" i „black light" sve više koriste u kombinaciji s posebno priređenim instalacijama koje su asocirale na robote, prikazivali su se kultni filmovi poput japanskog „Akira". Na prvim techno partyima uobičajno je bilo doživjeti nešto neobično. Uza sve one ne-glazbene sadržaje koji su pratili prve techno partije i pridonosili novoj atmosveri primarna je bila glazba. Ona je radikalno odudarala ne samo od rocka i srodnih stilova nego i od glazbe koja se u medijima počela pojavljivati uz oznaku techno, pridonoseći averziji svih gledatelja/slušatelja koji su se gnušali komercijalnih dance-pop pjesmica.
U početku izvori informacija bili su veoma raznovrsni; međunarodni kontakti, osobno iskustvo s techno dogadajima u svijetu, MTV i drugi mediji tj.micro mediji iliti flyjeri i naravno usmena komunikacija.
Počinje postepeno uspostavljanje stalnih termina za techno partyje u zagrebačkim klubovima, što daje novu brzinu, osigurava stalnu izmjenu informacija i daje novi zamah zaljubljenicima u techno.

Derrick May je svirao cca 2 i pol sata ... bilo je tu i housichnih trackova, no naglasak je ipak bio na technu.

Adam Freeland’s a man of many talents: Owner of Marine Parade records, resident at the legendary Fabric (among other clubs), Grammy nominee, sets at festivals ranging from Coachella to Glastonbury, writer & curator of computer games soundtracks, tracks appearing in films such as Spiderman… The list could go on.
It’s all part of his plan to shake up genre expectations anew for electronic music. “A lot of what the ‘name’ DJs play sounds very ‘90s, very dated, and I want to avoid that at all costs,” Freeland explains.
