A major electronic music pioneer from Detroit, Juan appeared behind aliases such as Cybotron, Model 500 and Infiniti, and has released many classics of sublime Detroit techno, including the 1982 electro track "Clear". Recorded by Atkins and Rick Davis as Cybotron, this track is often considered the first proto-techno track. Experimenting with fusing the extra-terrestrial funk of Parliament Funkadelic with the futuristic rhythms and hard math of Kraftwerk and the progressive dance theorems proposed by Giorgio Moroder, the Model 500 12"s laid the blueprint for Detroit Techno. Along with the tracks made by two schoolmates from the grade below, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, Detroit Techno quickly made its way across the Atlantic and immediately sparked the emerging rave culture and soon after the entire global dance community. Moving through the later 80's as Model 500, Atkins continued as one of the most prolific and sought after producers of electronic music throughout the 90's, culminating in the use of an Atkins' original as the musical bed for the 2000 launch of the Ford Focus 'Detroit Techno' automobile. Juan joins Moby on the Area One tour, and then takes the road on a stateside Om Record's tour this summer.
Packing clubs from Detroit to NY to Venezuela, Juan has mastered the art of soaking up new rhythmic elements from contemporary dance music while keeping his unerring, instantly recognizable sense of melody intact. Much discussed and anthologized not only for his 20 years of production credit but also for his ability to rock a dance floor, Juan Atkins' music and DJing is deified in Europe and embraced all over the world. Juan has also been prolifically releasing albums, remixes and collaborations on Belgium's R & S Records, Germany's Tresor, and others. His six full-length releases are available only as imports.

Božić je vrijeme darivanja, i iako bi dobra djela trebali činiti svaki dan nema bolje prilike za to od samog Božića. Iako svojim doprinosom ne možemo učiniti velike stvari kao što bi htjeli, ono malo što možemo je iskreno i od srca. Zato smo ove godine odlučili barem malo uljepšati Božić onim najranjivijima i manje sretnima od nas samih, djeci koja hrabro vode svakodnevnu bitku da bi slijedeći Božić provela u svojim kućama umjesto unutar bolničkih zidova.
Sav prihod od karata biti će utrošen na božićne poklone za djecu sa onkološkog odjela klinike za dječje bolesti Zagreb, u Klaićevoj ulici. A poklone ćemo im osobno uručiti netom pred Božić, u ime svih Vas Jabbana koji ćete nas podržati, udruge “TON” a samim time i cijele JabbaTon ekipe, te KSET-a u pratnji naših prijatelja plesača koji osim što će nastupiti na ovom JabbaTonu, također će svojim plesom razveseliti i djecu u samoj bolnici.
No da bi atmosfera na samom tulumu također bila prava božićna, kao i prošle godine smo za Vas pripremili santa kapice, božićne Jabba palačinke te tradicionalnu JabbaKiju da Vas ugrije u ove zimske dane.
Nadamo se da Vam razloga za dolazak ne manjka, te da ćete nas podržati u našoj namjeri da toj djeci prenesemo dio božićnog Jabba duha uz osmijeh od uha do uha!

DIGITRON SOUND SYSTEM
Digitron sound system osnovan je 2007.g. u Zagrebu, od strane dječaka iz Jahstice Sounda i Vrkija iz Radikal Dub Kolektiva. Ideja koja ih je vodila je da napokon netko u Hrvatskoj napravi pravi sound system namjenjen dub/reggae glazbi. Nakon godine dana djelovanja čini se da su to i uspjeli, iako utrka sa opremom se nastavlja!! Osim ideje dobrog sounda, također jedna od misli je i promicanje pozitivnih ideja, te informiranja javnosti da postoji i drugačiji pogled na svijet, te drugačiji način života od onog "zadanog" televizijom i babylonskim načinom kozumersko-bezidejnog "umiranja" .
Digitron Sound danas čini osnovicu dub/ reggae scene , time što djeluje na svakodnevnoj bazi organiziranja partija u zagrebačkom klubu Masters . Ovoga puta ih konzumirajte u Cab Clubu gdje će dati sve od sebe da nadmaše sva Vaša očekivanja!!
JARIBU SOUND
Jaribu Sound su osnovala trojica entuzijasta i zaljubljnika u glazbu različitih stilova (reggae, dub, hip-hop, jazz, drum 'n' bass, jungle, ...) sa željom da reproduciraju tuđu glazbu na drugačiji način . Svoje temelje su zasnovali sada već davne 2003.g. nastupom u Spunku, dok se kasnije pridružuju Groove Sanctunaryu, te osnivaju Trip To Zion crew. Tako postaju sastavni dio scene, te nastupaju na mnogim festivalima diljem lijepe naše, kao što je Seasplash Festival u Puli, Underwater Overground, Zagreb Winter Reggae, Feštivala Istruga, Illectric Funk Festival…
Nakon nekog vremena život ih odnosi na različite strane, te se sada ponovno okupljaju kao četvorka samo za ovu prigodu kada će nastupiti da nam ponovo pruže nezaboravan i nadasve neobičan pogled na glazbu koju slušaju. Prica o Kraftwerku pocinje u dalekoj 1970. u Dusseldorfu, kada su se Ralf Hutter i Florian Schneider-Esleben upoznali i podijelili zajednicke vizije o glazbi. I dan danas, nakon 40 godina djelovanja, njihova glazba zvuci svjeze i inovativno.
Kraftwerkova najveca ostavstina se i danas cuje u modernoj elektronskoj glazbi, jer upravo je njihov rad inspirirao velikane iz Detroita i bio temelj nove glazbe koju su nazvali TECHNO.
