One could call it a debut, but in reality it is a logical progression for her. Born and raised in New York City, Jes realized at a young age that singing was her passion. While enrolled in Art School, her truly unique vocal style, and range was discovered, and she quickly progressed to working in professional situations. All the while she continued to write and work in friends studios, always making music. While working at a popular recording studio in LA, JES met Mike Olson, and the two formed Gaurdians of the Earth, which was a hit on the very popular Mp3.com, with songs like Starchildren and One Moon Circling. "Starchildren" was released on Paul VanDyks The Politics Of Dancing series, and through hearing that, Jes began collaborating with more DJ's like D:fuse and Deepsky, producing tracks like "Living The Dream" and "Ghost" and many others. DJ Tocadisco is a German DJ and producer.
Tocadisco (Spanish for 'turntable') was born on 8 June 1974[1], and grew up in a small city near Cologne, Germany. He plays several instruments and played in different bands in his youth.
In 1996, Tocadisco's professional DJ career started at Düsseldorf's UNIQUE Club. With Tocadisco on the turntables, UNIQUE got voted "Best Club of the City" several times in PRINZ magazine. He has also played for fashion brands like G-Star Jeans and Diesel. In 2000, Tocadisco moved to Cologne and built himself a recording studio.
DJ Tocadisco has produced several remixes for different record labels. The most popular remix was for "Lifetimes" by Slam; the mix got voted one of the 12 Best Remixes in 2001 by the readers of the music magazine GROOVE. In October 2003, Tocadisco got signed to the German dance record label Superstar Records. His first single under his own name was called "Nobody (likes the records that I play)". In 2005 Tocadisco got voted by the readers of Raveline as one of the best newcomers in 2004.
In September 2006 Tocadisco remixed a track by Michael Cretu's project Enigma - Eppur Si Muove, from Enigma's latest album A Posteriori.
On 7th of April, 2007, Tocadisco appeared as the guest DJ on the second hour of Matt Darey's weekly Nocturnal radio show. In the first hour, Matt Darey also played Tocadisco's remix of Dyad 10's "Sugar, Honey (Sweet Thing)".

Renato Cohen is without doubt one of Brazil's most high profile techno producers and DJs. Though he's been an established name on the Brazilian club circuit for years and has released numerous ground breaking records, Renato deservedly hit the international spotlight in 2002 with the enormous 'Pontape', which was rapidly signed up by Intec. Renato Cohen was born in S�o Paulo, Brazil in 1974 and he has been producing since 1996. With no peer group to learn from in Sao Paulo, Renato has created his own unique sound through hard work and a love for studio equipment. His background as a drummer has been instrumental in his ability to create infectious rhythms within his music.
He has recently released on such fine labels as Sino and Noise Music and is already working on further releases for Intec.

Producer Alan Abrahams is already onto his fourth album, having already
graced the rosters of Background Recordings and scape with full-length
releases. This latest body of work seems to be the fruit of a great deal of
collaboration, and no short supply of vocals, though not always in a
conventional sense. Voices are mangled and dissolved into the rest of the
production on tracks like 'Shifting Sunlight' (which features Tor of
Deadcombo), and similarly 'Locate' uses its female vocal as another
percussive element, integrating nicely into the 4/4 network of hypermodern techno contortions. 'Arrabida' is an especially successful example of one of the slower tracks on the album, based around some overheated beats, just on the cusp of outright distortion, while elsewhere you'll find variants on an electropop theme, taking a Depeche Mode-like approach to more conventionally song-like works such as 'Albatros' and 'Take Action'. Software nerds are bound to find plenty to keep them engrossed in Powers Of Ten, but beyond the production gloss there's plenty of pop appeal to go round too.

Oscar Mulero kao Dj. iza sebe ima veliku karijeru,te veliku i dugotrajnu reputaciju u svojoj rodnoj državi Španjolskoj te diljem svijeta.
Također je ključna figura u stvaranju undereground scene u Španjolskoj.
Uvijek je apsorbirao nove trendove te je uvijek imao ''prste'' u vrhu elektronske glazbe od kraja osamdesetih do danas.Nezamislivo je kako je čovjek više od desetljeća uporno sa puno ljubavi prema glazbi svoj talent prenosio generacijama,pustajuci glazbu svuda u svijetu bez da je ikada svirao za neke velike novce,bez da mu je bitan bio profit,vrhunski je Dj i producent koji s radošću dijeli glazbu s nama..
Oscar je postao Dj krajem 80-ih u Madridu svirajuci Gothic Rock i Electronic Body Music u kultnim klubovima kao sto su Imposible, Capital, Kitch i Babia ,dakle svirao je stilove koji su dominirali tim vremenom u Španjolskoj.1991 počeo je svirati u legendarnom klubu New World koji je tada bio najpoznatiji klub afterpartya.Tada je počeo raditi na obnovi kluba The Omen i puno je pomogao da taj klub postane broj 1 u Spanjolskoj sto se tice hipnotičkog plesa..
Zatvaranje The Omena 1995 imalo je veliki utjecaj na razvoj Oscarove karijere,počeo je svirati svuda po Španjolsko i lagano se odvajao od zvuka koji je njegovao godinama -trancy lysergic- i polako se priklanjao basic minimal soundu koji su forsirali Joey Beltram i novi Detroit zvukovi Jeffa Millsa..
Uskoro postaje ikona hard zvuka u Spa. njegova popularnost rasla je nezaustavljivim geometričkim veličinama:) Sve je više i više bio fokusiran
naglo je razvijao vještine za gramofonima,njegovi skillovi su postali nevjerojatni,također je imao nevjerojatne EQ vještine (često imitiran,nikad imitirao).nikada nije ostavljao publiku indiferentnom.
U to vrijeme izdao je dva miksana cd-a About Discipline and Education (So Dens, 1998) ,u tome je miksu preferirao najnovije uradke Surgeona,Ho-a te Polsona i Ruskina,uključujući i par har techno klasika.Drugi cd je bio Era (Rexxistance, 2000),taj miks je slozen od tada najnaprednijih zvukova tog vremena kada su dominirali Autechre,Ho,Ruskin,Surgeon i Mulero dakako..
Njegov ga je tada raspored vozio svuda po svijetu,počeo je producirati glazbu i izdao je svoju prvu ploču nazvanu Quite Inusual (1999) u korporaciji sa Groofom i njegovim Madrid labelom Brainwawes.Kasnije izlazi i Different View (Kobayashi 1999) i različiti artisti LP Planet Kobayashi sa Oskrarovim trackom Problem Child.
2000 god otvara vlastiti label pod imenom Warm Up i počeo se fokusirati na studijski đob.Prve dve stvari koje je napravio na svom labelu su Medical Mesh i Sans Souci ,to ga je uvrstilo u top 10 producenata te godine.Tada je počeo izdavati i za svima dobro nam poznati Theory za koji je izdao Next Wave (2001), Bad Company (2001) i Anaconda (2001).
Također je izdao i Indoor Culture Remixes (2002) i Trolley Route (2002) (melodic Detroit influenced 3 track EP on the British label Pure Plastic. )Na istom labelu sa istim stilom je izdao i Occhi Chiusi (2003) prvi Trolley route LP koji su remiksirali Robert Hood i Steve Rachmad.Trolley rout je napravljen za slušanje po kući ne isključivo za densfloor.The Breakthrough Remixes (2002) Stimulus i Altered State EP(2002) na Coda labelu i Unexpected EP u koprodukciji sa CV. na Sheep Records. U 2003 Oscar izdaje "Just Flat and Dry" na Slovačkom labelu Palicavonzvreca.
Oscar nastavlja izdavati kvalitetnu glazbu na Warm-Up labelu Floodland, Learning To Be a Machine, Rented Opini with C. W?, Exium y Groof), CV is dead, Payback EP(produciran by Mark Broom)Action Through Inaction (sa Cage i OR) i za kraj The Nine,njegovo deveto izdanje.
Njegovo istrazivanje i zelja za kvalitetnom glazbom odvodi ga također i u d'n'b i electro vode,formirao je djelove Dark Archives Collective sa Dj Pitch-em,Focusom i Dj Muertom.U Alter Stateu prvom klubu u Madridu promovira publici D'N'B.

Seb Fontaine had dance music in his blood from the day he was conceived in Ibiza - his mother is a semi-professional DJ.
Growing up in West London, Seb's initial musical development was stimulated by ska, but soon dropped out of sixth form college to pursue a career as a DJ. His first 'proper' gig was at Crazy Larry's on the Kings Road, getting paid £30 a night to spin tunes for a typical Eighties 'sloanie' crew.

neznam od kud bih ovaj put poceo, pa cu onda od pocetka..
usli oko ponoci, CET svira minimal techno naravno, ekipe , ajd recimo da ima... (inace na DD-u ih bude vise oko ponoci), no dobro.. osnovni je problem to kaj je sad poceo faks itd i ima gro novih studenata u ZG-u i sad ih je gro ostalo da "prvi put izadju van" u zg-u, i tako da i ispred besta i svagdje po gradu, dosta novih lica i pijanih na sve strane...,pa tako i u bestu.., jako puno podobranaca, a jako malo pravih rejvera...
oko ponoci ekipa unutra, neki vec dosta napuseni svi cekaju "nesto" da pocne..., dosta sporo i neki se vec razbacali na minimal techno..., svakakvih prizora je bilo..
oko pol 1 CET pocinje malo nabrijavat ekipu, dolazi vise ljudi i krece bolji dio CET-ovog seta..,
svaka cast CET-u bas je rascagao ekipu i pripremio ju za sljedeceg DJ-a, Bandu....
Dolazi Bando, oko 1:40 .., nastavlja s nekim Minimal Technom/ Technom..., prvih pol sata.., niti jedan prijelaz nije bio dobar... a i lose fore.., samo sto se nisam poceo krizat, jer ak ovako bude do kraja.. bit ce uzas.... , no nakon tih prvih pol sata poceo je bolje svirat, i presao je bas samo na techno, ekipa se jos vise rascagala., prijelazi i finte su postali bolji, tako da eto.. popravio se.., valjda mu je trebalo zagrijavanje dobra zika i sve to, samo steta sto nista novije od 2006e, uglvnm sve vec dobro poznate stvari..., Bando svira sve do nekih 3:30 ako se ne varam, kada dolazi Keops uzima mirkofon kaze 3 rijeci: DJ Bando.. jei..., i to je to.., zatim pocinje on svirat..., odmah s nekom kontrom
jedina je zamjerka to sto nije malo stao i sve , da se covjeku malo vise pljesce i zahvali za dolazak...., eh da i Bando je bacio 2 ploce u publiku, nadam se da su citave ostale
Keops pocinje oko 3:30, s malo brzim technom i mogu reci da mi je Keops dosta dobro svirao (bolje nego inace)..., tako da eto, bas mi je leglo, iako je mnogima kasnije to bio malo monotono, no ipak je bila dobra zika.., tu sam se najvise rascagao....
Onda oko pol 5 , kako je i planirano dolazi Mary.., nastavlja kao Keops no malo je razbio monotonost..., standardno dobar mary nastavlja s svojim stilom..
oko 5:15 ak se ne varam, kupim se doma, jer sam se sjetio da imam danas dosta posla, jbg...
Svi DJ-i su mi bili podjednako dobri, sto nasi, sto Bando.., svatko je na trenutke imao dobre situacije, a bilo je i losijih.. ma svatko po svom stilu i ok je to bilo...
Pohvala Soniju i ekipi za light..., dosta dobro su mi izgledala ona plava, zelena i zuta svjetla.., do sada toga nije bilo.., takodjer laser je bio jako dobar i dobrodosao.., definitivno se ekipa odusevila time.., dobar light iako je stare rejvere to ubijalo, pa su se nosile naocale...
Takodjer ona fora sto je visila s stropa, kao kamen na kojem pise Direct Drive, je isto dobra stvar za promicanje ovakvih eventa...
Dakle jos jednom ekipa, jako malo poznatih, standardnih rejvera po bestu itd.., no ipak nas je bilo..., vecinom su prevladavali padobranci..., bilo je manje nadrogiranih nego inace.. (ovi novi se jos nisu ufurali), alo je zato bilo pijanih dosta.. a i trave je bilo.. (bzvz)...
Jako puno curica kao inace, tj. mladih novih zgodnih studentica..., dosta su upotpunile atmosferu.. iako mi je zao kad se cure tako jako ubiju od cuge, jer brijem da je bilo gro iskoristavanja....
Sound je bio dobar, ni preglasan ni pretih.., dosta se kvalitetno culo.., visoki nisu bili prejaki, bass je bio dobar.., rijetko kad je ovakav sound..., jedino steta sto kad smo izasli van je ipak dosta zujalo u usima.., sve do 14h popodne sljedeci dan.., al to je ok...
Nije mi zao kaj sam otisao na parti i dao 50kn, no steta oko ekipe.., bijem da je ovo bio dosta dobar poticaj za dovodjenje novih ljudi na ovakve partije...
Posto je bio light takav kakav je bio, glazba takodjer, rejvera malo.., rekao bih da je ovo neki kvazi techno parti... , ceka se pascal feos gdje bi trebalo biti manje ovakvih padobranaca i vise rejvera...
jos jednom, pohvala za sound, VJ-u.., a i DJ-ima (svima skupa)....
mislim da je ovim partijem definitivno jos jednom dobro otvorena nova sezona nadolazecih partija u ZG-u....
kupio sam novi mob, pa su sad snimke, nadam se nesto bolje ( i zvuk)...

Prema njihovom istrazivanju, THC ima protu-tumorna svojstva, te ga preporucaju u lijecenju tumora mozga. Rezultati istrazivanja su objavljena u medicinskom casopisu Acta Oncologica.Ramat-Gan, Israel: The primary psychoactive agent in cannabis, THC, possesses anti-tumoral activity in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cell lines and should be evaluated in clinical trials as a treatment for brain cancer, according to preclinical data to be published in the journal Acta Oncologica.
Investigators at Bar-Ilan University in Israel report that the administration of THC significantly affects the viability of GBM cells. Glioblastoma multiforme, the most aggressive form of glioma (brain cancer), strikes some 7,000 Americans annually, and generally results in death within one to two years following diagnosis.
"THC [is] an essential mediator of cannabinoid antitumoral action," investigators concluded. "Administration of Delta(9)-THC to glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cell lines results in a significant decrease in cell viability. … [I]t is suggested that Delta(9)-THC and other cannabinoids be implemented in future clinical evaluation as a therapeutic [agent] for brain tumors."
In 2006, investigators at Complutense University in Spain reported that the intracranial administration of THC decreased recurrent GBM tumor growth in humans.
Separate preclinical studies indicate that cannabinoids can inhibit the proliferation of various cancer cell lines, including breast carcinoma, prostate carcinoma, lung cancer, and lymphoma.

Synopsis:
Two robots, Hero #1 (Peter Hurteau) and Hero #2 (Michael Reich) drive through a small mid-American town populated by similar robots. Hero #1 and Hero #2 arrive at a laboratory and are given latex human-like faces with prosthetic features. Hero #1 and Hero #2 return to the town, but are chased out by the robotic locals, and their faces melt off in the intense heat. Hero #1 and Hero #2 escape on foot across the desert. After a long period of travelling Hero #1 reveals a panel on his back and asks Hero #2 to activate it. Hero #1 explodes, leaving Hero #2 alone in the desert. After more travelling, Hero #2 takes his helmet off to reveal a circuit board face. Hero #2 then smashes his helmet, and uses a shard of glass to focus the light from the sun onto his hand, which combusts, the fire eventually engulfing him.

Acid, House and Techno changed the landscape of the German music scene ever since the end of the eighties. Producer Ramon Zenker (born 11.11.1969) and DJ Oliver Bondzio (born 7.29.1976) were ahead of this new movement right from the start. In 1991 they formed Hardfloor and had their first success with the release “Once Again Back/Drug Overload” on the well-known label Eye Q. Only a few months later Hardfloor released their “Hardtrance Acperience EP” on Sven Vääth’s cult status label Harthouse. This EP made them famous for their innovative sound far beyond European boundaries, the song “Acperience 1” which even made its way into the UK charts, is still one of the milestones of Techno culture.
Only one year later the first long player “TB Resuscitation” was released, followed by other great and successful Albums such as “Respect” (1994), “Homerun” (1996), “Best of Hardfloor” (1997) and “All Targets Down” (1998). In 1998 the popular label K7 released their tenth X-Mix-Compilation called “Jack The Box”, for which K7 released to persuade Hardfloor to do the track listing and mixing of this album. On this compilation Oliver and Ramon present tracks that have influenced them the most, especially sound wise. This sound is called Acid House and the instrument that immediately comes to mind is the TB 303 built by Roland. The TB 303 is the centre of the Hardfloor sound, but breaks beats and Trip-Hop elements spice up the audio experience of Hardfloor, finally resulting in the side-project called: “dadamnphreaknoizephunk”.
Hardfloor also managed to gather a huge fan base in the land of the rising sun. They had their first gig in Japan in 1994 and ever since Ramon and Oliver keep on returning every year to celebrate with one the most enthusiastic audiences of the world. As a special “thanks” for the Japanese fans Hardflloor often release Bonus Tracks, not available in other countries. They also remixed tracks for many Japanese artists and contributed a track for Playstation game: “Ghost In The Shell”. Of course, many other states all over the world are glad to welcome Hardfloor in their clubs. Australia, the USA, you name it. Oliver and Ramon played the big festivals: Tribal Gathering (UK). Universe (UK), Arivika (SWE), Mayday (D), Time Warp (D), Nature One (D). and Quart Festival (NOR).

Neki ljudi su stvoreni da budu glazbenici. Jedan od tih ljudi je Laurent Garnier - čovjek koji nosi status najznačajnije DJ ikone elektroničke glazbe.

One of the most well-known Greek DJs around the world, George Pallikaris became rather famous throughtout his well-respected production work - including the early releases at Low Pressings and Plastic City, and the club-minded tribal, techy and proggy releases of his own label "Swift Records".
George originally hails from Thessaloniki, the largest city of northern Greece. He was first introduced to music at the very young age of 4, when he was already training to play the piano! After developing his skills composing and producing his own tracks, George moved to New York City to pursue a degree in music technology. While attending courses to obtain the NYU's degree, he concluded his first commercial record release on UK's Low Pressings label around the beginning of 1999. Very soon, he joined the UCMG NY artist roster, decision that allowed him to release various singles for Plastic City - including his critically acclaimed debut album "Life".
Meanwhile, George had to return to Greece to do his military service for the Greek army! It was however this obligation that gave him the opportunity to found his own label "Swift Records" in 2001. Since then, things got in a row for G.Pal who still manages to compile various "tasks" at the same time, including:

Političari ne znaju što je zapravo dekriminalizacija lakih drogaGodinama se vode polemike treba li dekriminalizirati lake droge, odnosno posjedovanje manjih količina?
- Ljudi uopće ne razumiju pojam dekriminalizacije, to se zloupotrebljava i stvara konfuziju u javnosti. Političari se prepucavaju, a nitko ne želi protumačiti što bi se dekriminaliziralo i što to podrazumijeva. Još 1996. smatrao sam da se posjedovanje manjih količina za osobnu uporabu ne bi trebalo tretirati kroz Kazneni zakon, već kroz prekršajni. Ako se to zove dekriminalizacija, onda sam njen pobornik.
Danas imamo dvojnost postupka, za posjedovanje droge, neovisno o količini i vrsti, paralelno se vodi i kazneni i prekršajni postupak. To je potpuno blesavo ako smo htjeli racionalizirati rad represivnog aparata. Sudovi se zatrpavaju beznačajnim predmetima. Zagovarao sam da se represivni aparat usmjeri na istraživanje, aktivno bavljenjem višim formama organiziranog kriminala, a kad je riječ o mladeži, pacijentima i bolesnicima, da treba snažiti sustav za primarnu prevenciju i tretmane. No, ti zagovori nisu zaživjeli u praksi, jer politika ne sluša struku.

TROJE australske djece je hospitalizirano nedugo nakon što su uzeli tablete ecstasyja na školskom igralištu, misleći da je riječ o bombonima s okusom jagode, izvijestila je danas tamošnja policija.
Kako prenosi AP, 11-godišnja djevojčica i dvojica 10-godišnjih dječaka su počeli osjećati mučninu, vrtoglavicu i bili su dezorijentirani, nakon što su tijekom jučerašnjeg velikog odmora progutali tablete. Djeca su nakon gutanja tableta zatražila pomoć školskog osoblja te su hitno prevezena u obližnju bolnicu. Osnovna škola u kojoj se incident dogodio nalazi se 80 kilometara južno od Sydneyja.
"Prema informacijama koje smo dobili od učenika te škole, mislili su da je riječ o bombonima s okusom jagode", rekao je policijski inspektor Bob Noble. Pretpostavlja se kako je "bombone" u školu donijela djevojčica te ih podijelila s dječacima.
Roditelji djece nalaze se na ispitivanju kako bi se utvrdilo kako su djeca došla do ecstasyja.

Generally considered a
tech trance DJ, Marco V was the resident DJ of the "danssalon" in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. After several years of residency, he began to focus on production. Headlining Innercity in Amsterdam 2000 and mixing the Innercity CD of that year was his first breakthrough.
In 2005 he released the critically acclaimed follow-up to his debut "con:fusion" . "200V" (V also to be read as the Roman 5) is a record for every mood.
Marco V is currently working on the follow up of Benjamin Bates' debut album (N.E.V.E.R.L.E.T.A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G.K.I.L.L.T.H.E.P.L.E.A.S.U.R.E.) which (title: RECYCLOMANIA)was released on May 14, 2007. His Combi:nations III was released on May 22nd and he is currently working on his own new album.

High Contrast is the stage name of Welsh drum and bass DJ and producer Lincoln Barrett. He was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1979.
High Contrast is currently on tour promoting his new album, 'Tough Guys Don't Dance', which was released on October 1st 2007. The second single from the album- 'If We Ever' is played by top DJs in the UK and can be heard in clubs now. It has also been heavily played and supported on Radio 1 by Annie Mac, Zane Lowe and Jo Whiley helping it to reach number 1 in the DnB chart, number 1 in the dance chart and number 4 in the Indie chart.

La Fleur has been a featured performer at a number of venues and events, national and international. Highly regarded for her smooth and intelligent mixing, careful selection and crowd rocking blend of melodic, funky electro, house and techno.
Swedish La Fleur started her DJ carrer in Örebro, back in 2002. Through a combination of many years listening and dancing to music and a willing to share her music with others, Djing became a natural step forward in her interest in music. After finishing pharmacy studies in Uppsala, lack of good record stores and house clubs in Örebro/Uppsala, made her move to Stockholm in 2004.
DJ at night, pharmacist during the day. Right now she is resident with the club Housewives at Stockholms new dance palace.
She plays always funky, and always with the purpose of moving the dance floor. As she says: “I grew up on the dance floor so I never forget that one of the main purposes of DJing is to entertain the crowd.” Soon they might be dancing to her own hit since she also started producing house music.

In the late 2006 Adeline Supreme and La Fleur teamed up to become the duo Housewives that make the floor more dirty and wet than it's ever been before. Their club "Housewives" is now one of the hottest nights at the dance palace Teatron in Stockholm, Sweden, and was voted the Best Club in People Choice Awards 2007.

Slam are a crew known for releasing quality rather than quantity and this, the first single to be taken from their massively acclaimed second album “Alien Radio” (released on 11th June 2001) is no exception. A dark, bass heavy song with reverberations so powerful that your kindly neighbours may well have room to complain.
The lightweight vocals are provided by Tyrone “Visionary” Palmer of Felix Da Housecat’s “My Life is Music” fame. This is one of those tracks that, on first listening may not sound too hot but third time around you’ll be bouncing on the sofa, screaming enthusiastically and grabbing all unsuspecting flatmates for a tearful hug.
Dr. Lektroluv (real name Stefaan Vandenberghe) is a Belgium born Electro DJ, sometimes referred to as The Man with the green mask.
He is known for his green mask and mixing using a telephone instead of headphones. He describes his style as : "Everything has an electronic feel, from italo to house and from electro to techno."
He emerged at the beginning of the 21st century, playing at the Body to Body parties at Culture Club in Ghent. He regularly releases compilations on the NEWS label, mixing classic electro-gems with some fresher releases.

Dave Seaman (born Apr 29, 1936) is a British
dance music DJ and record producer. He was formerly a member of the DMC Publishing, and editor of music magazine Mixmag. He formed one half of Brothers In Rhythm with Steve Anderson, doing production work for (amongst others)
Pet Shop Boys and
Kylie Minogue. He has since founded
Audio Therapy - part-dance collective, part-record label. He is also well-known for his three releases in the famed
Global Underground series.
